Not all materials are created equal. Each has its own benefits. We carry suits in a range of materials for this reason. When coming in to shop, make sure you tell your sales person what the suit will be used for, i.e., every day work, special occasions, etc. This will help us determine the right suit for your needs.

100% Wool vs. Wool Blends
Wool is a natural fiber, so 100% wool suits breath better. This means they will keep you cooler in Summer and warmer in Winter. However, 100% wool wrinkles easier than wool blends that include Rayon and/or Polyester. So if staying wrinkle free with less effort is important, then a blend may be right for you. Or, if comfort is what you crave, then all-wool is the way to go.

High Twist
When these suits are made, instead of the yarn coming straight off the spool, it is twisted first. This creates more density in the fabric. So it is less shiny, drapes most bodies in a nice way and rebounds better after being wrinkled.

Super 120 and Super 150 Wool Yarn
Suits made with these ultra thin yarns look fantastic. They create a more compact weave which has less elasticity, more sheen and a silkier feel and finish. However, suits made with these yarns tend to be for special occasions and high style rather than everyday use. This is because fine yarns do not have the durability of thicker yarns.
